SmartClip Pro — Privacy Policy

SmartClip Pro (“we”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

1. What we collect

• Email address — used only to create your account, send one-time sign-in codes (OTP), and manage your free trial and subscription.
• Subscription status — your plan and expiry date, so the extension can unlock for you. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Your saved clips, folders, flashcards, and quizzes are stored locally on your device (in your browser) and are never uploaded to us.
• Summaries, flashcards, and quizzes are generated on your device. Your notes are never sent to any server.
• We do not track your browsing, show ads, or sell your data.

3. Third-party services

We use trusted providers only to deliver the service:

• Brevo — delivers your sign-in code to your email.
• Razorpay — processes subscription payments.
• Cloudflare — hosts our authentication & license service.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your email and subscription status while your account is active. To delete your account and data, email us at janhavirawat25@gmail.com.
